A Spoonful of Sugar
I picked up a jelly roll of these really sweet fabrics from a fellow quilter who was destashing and decided to make a baby quilt. The pattern is modeled after a vintage Amish quilt I had seen somewhere on the internet.
It was a quick satisfying project that took perhaps a day to put together. I particularly like the back of the quilt. Used some hoarded Denyse Schmidt fabric I had bought from Joann's. I miss that store.
I quilted it with a wavy pattern, using stitch #4 on my Bernina QE 440. This pattern gives the best texture after a wash.
The binding is Riley Blake 1/4 inch stripe in Gray. Finished in July 2024
