Daily Craft TV

Once again Eric Woolf, the media coordinator at Fons & Porter contacted me to review a class from their new online course offerings at http://www.dailycrafttv.com There are currently a number of crafting classes available that cost between $4.99 and $9.99 and new ones are being added daily.

I picked Yes You Can Piece Curves: Curved Piecing Two Ways as I was interested in learning how to piece curves and the class promised a free pattern for 'Tres Chic' quilt featured in one of their Quilty magazine editions.

After previewing the class I tried my hand at piecing a few 3" Drunkard's Path blocks and made a mug rug for our guild swap.

Not bad for a few hours of work. I even made my own drunkards path template.

Eric has also agreed to give away one class for free to one of the lucky readers today. Please sign up using the Rafflecopter plugin below and I will pick one random winner next Wednesday.

This is the lovely mug rug I got in return from our swap. It reminds me of the summer that is quickly slipping away. Love the machine embroidery on it. What a clever idea.

  2. Nice!! I would want to watch the same one you chose. Curves are my nemesis!! I wanted so badly to do the Retro Flowers quilt...it turned out crap! Your mug rug is lovely! Nice use of fabrics!
